On July 16, 2014, Michelle Middaugh (46) of Union City, Ohio and James Spencer (37) of Union City, Indiana were taken into custody without incident following a buy/bust operation conducted by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, along with Darke County Deputies and Union City (Ohio) Police, in the 100 Block of E. Spearmint Street in Union City, Ohio. Both Middaugh and Spencer were transported to the Darke County Jail, where they await formal charges of Trafficking in Drugs and Possession of Drugs.
