Versailles, Franklin-Monroe lead county in district report cards

The Ohio Department of Education released its annual school district report cards this week. Versailles and Franklin-Monroe led with way among Darke County schools. Versailles met all 24 standards set forth by the Department of Education. Franklin-Monroe met 23 of the 24 standards. Versailles and Franklin-Monroe also led with the top two scores on performance index, with 109.19 and 105.15 respectively.

Letter grades are now included in the new scoring system, and Versailles was the only Darke County school to get "straight A's" for standards met and performance index. Franklin-Monroe and Ansonia both received one A (for standards met) and one B (for performance index).

The Columbus Dispatch has an online database to view all schools in the state. You can drill down on your district, and individual school, by clicking here. (Note: Bradford is considered a Miami County school in the database and its scores can be viewed here.)
