WDTN reports today that a runaway inmate was located in Greenville today and was subsequently apprehended by authorities.Initial reports were that Robert Dean Lewis fled from the Randolph County Jail while he was cleaning the lobby early Monday morning. According to WDTN, a Greenville resident recognized him and alerted authorities. They also report that Lewis attempted to flee officers but was then tased and apprehended.
He is currently being held in the Darke County Jail awaiting an extradition hearing.
