Yesterday, I learned of Kroger's fantastic new gesture of kindness towards children, where they will allow kids to enjoy a piece of fruit while shopping with their grown ups. This helps keep kids occupied during otherwise tedious grocery trips (although riding in the car carts and looking at balloons often holds my little dude's attention), as well as encourages healthy eating habits.
Good on you, Kroger!
