The Annual Resolve Through Sharing (RTS) Bereavement Service for families whose newborns died in the past year is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, at the RTS memory Garden by the third pond on the Reid Health campus in Richmond.
The RTS event is also for babies who were lost through miscarriage, said Ginger Matera, RN, with Reid Health Mother-Baby Care Center. It involves music, readings, reciting the names of the infants and prayers.
The RTS Bereavement Garden is by the third pond East of the Reid campus, easily accessed from the most eastern part of the Emergency lot. Use entrance Gate 3. In case of inclement weather, the service will move to Golay Chapel on Reid’s second floor.
