Dan is seen in 2007 with with daughters Katie and Autumn and Richard Halley
Join us for an informative presentation on “Composting “ by Dan Young on Thursday October 22nd from 6:30 to 7:30 in the upstairs meeting room. Dan will discuss the benefits of using and creating your own compost to enhance soil condition and replenish nutrients to your garden and lawn. He says “Give your soil that extra initiative to produce by adding organic compost.” Refreshments will be served.

Dan is the owner of Fresh Aire Farms located at 1324 Wasson Road, Union City, Ohio.
When construction was about to begin on the Library expansion in 2007 Dan donated many truckloads of high-quality organic compost, topsoil, and mulch to help protect the trees. He did so again in 2008 to replenish the soil before landscaping.

The Young family also raises certified organic, grass-fed beef and lamb, as well as grows small grains such as corn, soybeans, wheat, and sunflower seeds. Another aspect of their business is wood and yard waste recycling. The Young's can be reached at 937-968-3423.
