Upcoming Events at The Arcanum Public Library

The rest of the year promises to be busy for everyone as preparations are made for cold weather, end of the year school events, and holidays! The Arcanum Public Library hopes this is a joyous season for all.

To help with the busy time, we would like to invite the public to a free event “Organized by Olive”. This program will help you with ideas to insure a hassle-free and organized holiday season. Call ahead or sign up at the library for the event to be held on Monday, November 16th at 6:30pm.

To help with gift-giving, we are offering a 2-part knitting series, “Knit a Scarf for Christmas!” The class is free, but participants need to bring knitting needles, size 8 if possible, and worsted weight yarn. The first session will get you started on the project and will be on Thursday, November 19th at 6:00pm. The second session will help you finish your project and will be on Thursday, December 10th at 6:00pm. Beginners and experienced alike are welcome to join the fun. Call ahead or sign up at the library.

As a reminder, the library will be closed on Wednesday, November 25th and on Thanksgiving Day, November 26th.

Give the library a call if you have any questions at 937-692-8484, or check out our website at www.acanumpubliclibrary.org.
