State of the Heart Hospice is excited to announce two new staff members that have recently joined their team. State of the Heart, with offices in Greenville, Portland and Coldwater, cares for patients and families in eastern Indiana and western Ohio who are confronting a life limiting illness.
Working out of the Coldwater office, Tammy Grieshop joins the agency as a hospice aide. Tammy has a passion for caring and wants to make a difference in an individual’s last stages of life. She has been a licensed STNA for 6 years and has a B.A. in Healthcare Administration in long term care. In her free time, Tammy enjoys watching movies, crafts, and spending time with her husband Christopher and children; Eathen, Faith, Sage and Kayden.
State of the Heart also welcomes a new Director of Business Development, Laura Retter. When asked what prompted her to work at State of the Heart, Laura shared “I was drawn to the mission and purpose of the agency. I have dreamt of using my professional background to serve my community and a cause close to my heart.” Laura brings with her over 10 years of marketing and business development experience for non-profits and media publishers. Laura enjoys running , reading, travel, being outdoors and cooking. She lives in Winchester, IN with her husband, Brendan.
