National POW/MIA Recognition Day Sept 16, 2016
National POW/MIA Recognition Day is observed on the third Friday in September. It honors those who were prisoners of war and those who are still missing in action. The Fort GreeneVille Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution asks that everyone recognize this day in remembrance of the sacrifices those POW/MIA soldiers made.
