The Homelighters and the Clark Sisters to sing at Cancer Association’s yearly Gospel Sing on November 6 at Memorial Hall at 3 pm. Admission is free with a freewill offering to be taken. Refreshments provided along with bake sale.

HOMELIGHTERS  QUARTET

The Homelighters Quartet was formed about 31 years ago by twin brothers; Kenny and Kermit Haddox in Circleville, Ohio. The vision of the group was to sing  Southern Style Gospel Music to the lost and that desire and commitment has never changed. The motto of the quartet is, “We would rather pray with you than sing to you.”  All members are born again Christian men with families and a burning desire to see the lost come to know Jesus Christ.

Kenny Haddox has now moved on to another ministry traveling as a local evangelist.  Every once in a while he shows up and the two brothers get to sing together again.

CURRENT MEMBERS: Kermit Haddox, the only remaining founding member, lives in Stoutsville, Ohio. He manages the group and sings lead. He is retired from Container Corp. Greg Cline lives in Circleville, Ohio, and sings tenor for the group. He also works as an Electronics Engineer. John Wright lives in Westerville, Ohio. He sings bass for the group. He no longer works due to a disability. Rick Doran lives in Vandalia, Ohio. He sings baritone for the group. He is retired from The Miami Conservancy District and currently works part time as a therapist at the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Center.

It's simply amazing how God can take his children from different occupations; different religious up-bringing; different ideas and different personalities and convert them to one ministry. Being like-minded and dedicated to working for the Lord ~~ This is The Homelighters Quartet.
