On July 23, 2017 at 12:26 p.m. Darke County Sheriff Deputies along with Bradford Fire Department and Bradford Rescue responded to New Harrison Bradford Road in the area of Smith Road on a non injury accident.
Deputies determined that a westbound Ford Fusion driven by Tyler Austin (27), of Gettysburg Ohio, drove into standing water on the roadway. Mr. Austin lost control of his vehicle causing it to leave the roadway and strike a utility pole. There were no injuries reported at the scene of the accident.
