In recent weeks, the Wayne Hospital construction has been less-than-aesthetically pleasing, with plenty of rusted metal beams and plastic sheeting present (the latter in shreds after a series of windstorms). However, the project is advancing to the point that a fair amount of the finished exterior is now up.
The new wing has a light contemporary exterior, which is an interestng contrast with the tan brick of the original building. The current construction is on schedule to be completed in
January 2010.
