Temporary power outage hits Darke County

The power was out here in Greenville for about a half an hour this morning (approx. 8:45am to 9:15am).

The area of the outrage outage is still unknown - but confirmed reports had the power out in downtown Greenville, north Greenville (Woodland Heights), and as far south as Neave Township. Unconfirmed reports from the county administration building indicated the power outage extended out as far as Arcanum to the south - and North Star to the north.

UPDATE: Another shorter outage occurred after 9:15am - and then ended at approximately 9:30am. The Darke County Courthouse is currently locked down.

Additional reports indicate the outage affected Preble County as well.
