  1. Out of curiosity, how does one stop a private business from doing something on their own land that does not require approval from local government but only needs approval from the EPA which never listens to local citizens anyway if it meets federal standards?

  2. Public acceptance is part of the mandate for CO2 sequestration demonstrations - (EXPERIMENTS). The public has a right to voice their opinions and fears - it comes with a lot of risks.

  3. To 1st Anonymous:

You can stop it because, by their own admission, the CO2 can permeate up to 2000 feet beyond the point of injection. This is nearly 300 acres and the plant only owns 90. Also the aquifer extends even farther. You surely can realize that they would not have the right to foul that.

  4. I've always been of the opinion that corporations should be able to eat my liver if that's what they decide they want to do.

I mean, who am I anyway?
