This website has 45 articles on the main page, which right now includes two slideshows and a YouTube video. Too many add-ons will eventually slow down the website's performance. The question ... has anyone noticed a slowdown with the additional stories and add-ons? Any feedback (by comment - or email: darkejournal@gmail.com) would be appreciated.

Thanks - several comments have confirmed no slowdown. Given the response, we might try a new feature or two, but DarkeJournal will never be a slow loader!
No change here. It loads very fast.

ReplyDeleteThe way you have posted the Flickr and You Tube features they don't load until you actually click them. This is the right way to do it.
ReplyDeleteMy suggestion would be to page out the articles. For example, 20 to a page or so.
