High school football coverage

Thanks to everyone who responded by comments and email. By the number of responses, there is definitely a desire for some Friday night high school football coverage. So here is the plan ...

• Darke Journal will cover one "game of the week" each Friday night.
• Before the games start, we will post a Friday Night Football "open thread," and Darke Journal readers can post updates to the website via the comments.
• Also ... and this could be the fun part ... Darke Journal readers who are attending games can email or text updates which we will post in real-time (or close to real-time). These updates do not need to be just scores, but also big plays, injury updates, etc.
• And if any citizen journalist wants to write a post-game summary, you can have you own story and by-line.

We will need some participation for this to work well. How about any follow-up comments/suggestions?
