Serving Us

NEW MADISON - Army National Guard Pfc. David R. Wogomon has graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Still, Lawton, Oklahoma.

During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission and received instruction and training exercises in drill and ceremonies, Army history, core values and traditions, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, rifle marksmanship, weapons use, map reading and land navigation, foot marches, armed and unarmed combat, and field maneuvers and tactics.

Wogoman is the son of Charles Wogoman, of New Madison.

GREENVILLE - Army Pvt. William A. Boyd III has graduated from the Infantry One Station Unit Training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Georgia. The training consists of Basic Infantry Training and Advanced Individual Training.

Boyd is the grandson of Nancy Wooten, of Greenville. The private is a 2008 graduate of Greenville High School.
