PATIENT IN CRITICAL CONDITION FOLLOWING CRASH

On 09-10-09 at approximately 4:19 PM, the Darke County Sheriff's Office was received a call of a two vehicle rollover accident at the intersection of Arcanum Bears Mill Rd and Folkerth Rd. Darke County Sheriff's Deputies, Arcanum Fire and Rescue and Greenville Township Rescue were dispatched to the scene.

Preliminary investigation shows that a 2001 Honda Civic driven by Vincent Gragorace (18) of Greenville was eastbound on Folkerth Rd. Gragorace failed to stop at the stop sign at Arcanum Bears Mill Rd. Gragorace's vehicle was struck by a 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue, which was southbound on Arcanum Bears Mill Rd. and was driven by Tyler Garner (17) of Greenville. Gragorace's vehicle went off the southeast corner of the intersection and overturned. Gragorace was treated by Greenville Township Rescue and was transported to Wayne Hospital . Garner was checked by Arcanum Rescue, but refused treatment.

Gragorace had two passenger's in his vehicle, Jacob Rose (18) of Greenville , and Lindsey Ricker (18) of Greenville . Rose was partially ejected from the vehicle and was treated by Greenville Rescue and was transported to Wayne Hospital . Ricker was partially ejected from the vehicle. Ricker was treated by Arcanum Rescue and was taken to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton by Careflight.

Garner had one passenger in his vehicle, Dreema Garber (15) of Gettysburg . Garber was treated by Arcanum Rescue and refused treatment.

At this time Ricker is listed in critical condition at Miami Valley Hospital .

This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff's Office.
