At 10-0 Ansonia is the No. 1 seed in Division VI, Region 24, of the Ohio high school football playoffs. Ansonia will host the No. 8 seed Covington (7-3) next Saturday at 7pm.
In other Darke County news (sort of), Marion Local sneaked into the same playoff bracket with a 5-5 record. They will travel to Lehman Catholic next Saturday. Marion Local High School is in Mercer County, but the district extends into Darke County in the Osgood area.
Other area teams in the playoffs include Coldwater, St. Henry, and Eaton.
