DARKE COUNTY HOME INVASION ROBBERY

Darke County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating a home invasion robbery that occurred over night. The preliminary investigation revealed that at approximately 7:30 PM last night two masked men entered the home of an elderly Darke County resident at 8135 State Route 121 in Richland Township north of Greenville, Ohio. The two men forced entry into the house. One subject was reported to be armed with a handgun. The suspects duct taped the victim to a chair and locked her in a closet while they removed a large number of items from the residence. The suspects left the scene in the victim’s vehicle. The victim suffered minor injuries as a result of this robbery. The suspects are described as follows:

1 white male with a thin beard, wearing a black ski mask and dark clothes.

1 subject, possibly a black male, wearing a black ski mask, dark clothes and armed with a handgun

Stolen from the scene was a dark blue, 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis four door sedan with Ohio Registration CP28PN.

This case remains under investigation.

  1. WHIO is reporting they found the car in dayton and the 3 men in the car were arrested.
