The Darke County Photo Club had a photo outing in Miami County and decided to eat here. It was great. The sandwiches were huge. A very good value for your dollar. I highly recommend anyone trying it on their next trip to Troy.
ReplyDeleteamazing place that is busy morning noon and night. Maybe the new coffee shop people will visit there for some advice.
ReplyDeleteI've been there several times... love the broccoli cheese soup - also the Chocolate Cherry coffee.
ReplyDeletehey anonymous 8:50 pm.Why dont you back off the cofee shop and give it a chance. How do you know it will fail or that the people need advice.I bet they got more business sense than you do.At least there trying and there not scared to try and help out the local economy. So leave them alone until they fail and who knows they might make it.
ReplyDeleteI get really tired of seeing the Advocate, Early Bird, Darke Journal and others, especially at Christmas time go after Darke County advertisers and say SPEND DARKE COUTY MONEY IN DARKE COUNTY then see it plastered all over in these same outlets NON-paid promotions for outside county for profit businesses like the Casino in Indiana write up, or promoting ANY businessed outside of our area. WE NEED TO DO ALL WE CAN TO KEEP OUR OWN BUSINESSES A FLOAT HERE before pandering DARKE COUNTY $$$ to beyond our borders! Haven't we seen enough local businesses go under already. PROMOTE DARKE COUNTY and leave Miami County, Indiana and other cities/counties to promote their own!
ReplyDeleteOur businesses as well as our local non-profit organizations have a hard enough time getting people to come in without the help of our own local media promoting others and doing so FREE of charge with non-paid articles plastered everywhere ... but then that's just my opinion, I have been wrong before...LOL
Anon 12:05 AM - Clearly you didn't read the very first two lines above.
ReplyDeleteDJ - Thanks for posting. Since I am in Troy on a regular basis I appreciate this information.
Where is all the LOVE? We have good restaurants locally, but, after eating green M&Ms for a while you just want to try a red one once in a while. LOL
