Its great that they have found a new location, but the main question I see is will they be able to serve adult beverages? Will the city approve them for that? Because if not I see them losing a lot of business!
I would assume that the alcohol license would be a non issue or they wouldn't have picked that location (I hope, as i agree, that has to be a substantial portion of their revenue).
camino is also our favorite place in greenville to eat as well.
guessing it must be a different type of alcohol license since another business in that area applied to a license and was told NO that no new licences were being granted or available
The city has nothing to do with alcohol license. The state takes care of this all the city has to do is approve. They don't very often not approve them. You are able to transfer the license
It is a shame that the main issue is about alcohol. I have been there when visiting family. I would think the talk would be about the food and atmosphere and the fact that they can now serve a larger crowd.
I have it on good authority that the plan is for them to be there by cinco de mayo.
ReplyDeleteA move that is well deserved and needed. This by far is me and my families favorite restaurant in Greenville! OLE!

ReplyDeleteI assume the should be able to take the current alcohol license with them if it is in their name and if zoning allows. DJ?
