Bring Out Your Shovels & Plant! - Saturday, May 22

Planting day is Saturday, May 22 in downtown Greenville. The Design Committe of Main Street Greenville has brought community members together to come up with a beautiful color scheme and flower selection.

All participants please meet at the Gazebo located at 4th & Broadway to sign in. You will receive your box or pot location as well as a goodie bag! You only need to bring your shovel, gloves and kneeling pad, everything else is provided.

How does the Adopt A Box Program Work?

1. Get your family, business, church or organization together to decide if you would like to adopt a box or pot. Fill out the form and send it to Main Street Greenville

2. Plant! Show up on Planting Day, Saturday, May 22 anytime between 8 am- 11 am to plant your adopted location. Plants, soil and mulch are all provided and will be located at your adopted location. A plaque will be placed on your pot or box as gratitude for your caring and assisting in beautifying downtown.

3. Take pride in your planting! From time to time come downtown and check out your creation. Make sure there are no weeds or trash around.

Planting Community Pride, One Box At A Time!

There are still boxes and pots to be adopted. If your family, organization, or business is interested, please fill out the form and send it in by Wednesday, May 19.
