Special guest to appear at Women's Club picnic

The Darke County Republican Women will be celebrating Monday, June 14, “Flag Day” with a special picnic and a very special guest speaker, Mrs. Rob Portman! The picnic will be held in the dining room in the Brethren Home at noon. Jane Portman’s husband, Rob, is a candidate for the U.S. Senate.

Jane Portman and her husband Rob live in Terrace Park, OH with their three teenage children, Jed, Will and Sally, and their two dogs, Duke and Chuck.

Jane grew up in North Carolina and has called Ohio "home" since 1986, when she and Rob were married. Her professional background is in marketing and communications, and she has devoted much of her time and energy toward raising her family.

Jane is an active community volunteer who serves on the board of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, is a longtime driver of a regular Meals on Wheels route, and tutors students in Cincinnati Public Schools, among other activities.
