The Darke County Republican Women’s Club met on June 14 at noon to hear Mrs. Rob Portman (Jane) speak. Mrs. Portman’s husband is Rob Portman who is the Republican candidate for U.S. Senate from Ohio. The Brick Room at the Brethren Retirement Community was completely filled with members from Darke County, Miami County, Mercer County, Clark County as well as the President and Secretary of the Ohio Federation of Republican women, and one brave but lonely man.
