On June 11th, 2010 at approximately 6:45 AM, the Darke County Sheriff's Office received a 9-1-1 call reporting a one vehicle serious accident in the 4500-Block of Horatio-Harris Creek Rd.
Responding units found 16 year old Sara E. Beanblossom of rural Bradford trapped in her vehicle. Investigation revealed that Beanblossom was traveling eastbound when for unknown reasons she drove off the right of the roadway and struck a utility pole. Greenville Township Rescue and Fire freed Beanblossom from her vehicle after approximately 30 minutes. Beanblossom was then transported to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton by Careflight.
This accident remains under investigation.
