Reminder: Versailles Poultry Days is this weekend

From the Poultry Days Committee: The 2010 Poultry Days festival will once again be filled with many activities, attractions and events for people of all ages to enjoy!

We anticipate serving 24,000 chicken dinners over the three days. The affordable price of $7.00 per dinner will remain the same in 2010. As always, the dinner will include the best barbecue chicken in the world, potato chips, applesauce, dinner roll, and the refreshing Chilly Willy orange drink.

Poultry Days has scheduled some of the area’s best bands to provide live entertainment throughout the weekend.

Performing Friday in the social tent from 8:00-12:00 p.m., will be “Renegade”. Providing Saturday entertainment will be "Tricia and Linda" followed by “Pocket Change” in the afternoon and "Classified" will perform from 8:00-12:00 p.m., and providing the entertainment on Sunday will be “2 X 2” and capping off the evening will be “Empty Tank” performing from 6:00-10:00 p.m. See the full schedule of events here.
