Two Darke County Students Recognized as Valedictorians at MVCTC

The Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) has five students named as Valedictorian for 2010. The five students recognized as Valedictorians earned a 4.0 G.P.A. at their partner school district and while attending MVCTC. The Darke County students being named MVCTC Valedictorian include Emily Berger (Ansonia) and Danielle Williams (Versailles).

Emily Berger (Ansonia) completed the Graphic Art program at MVCTC. She plans to attend Bowling Green State University in the fall majoring in Graphic Design with a minor in Spanish. Emily is the daughter of Andy and Kim Berger of Ansonia.

Danielle Williams (Versailles) completed the Graphic Commercial Art program at MVCTC. She plans to attend the Columbus College of Art and Design in the fall to continue her study of art. Danielle is the daughter of Tim and Sherri Williams of North Star.

The honored students were recognized at the MVCTC Senior Recognition Ceremony on Thursday, May 20 at the Nutter Center in Dayton.

  1. Two of five MVCTC valedictorians from Darke County is pretty impressive considering MVCTC has 27 partner schools between 5 counties!! Great job ladies, and best of luck in your future.
