He will never be welcome back in Ohio. The way he went out is utterly embarrassing to the Cleveland/Akron area and state of Ohio. To go on national television and give all the reasons you are going to the Miami Heat is basically telling your Cavalier fans that they shouldn't root for the Cavs anymore because they don't have a CHANCE IN HELL without you. He has set the organization back YEARS by leaving. Their cap situation is atrocious, they have traded away a myriad of draft picks to keep him happy, the team is aging fast, etc. etc. etc.
If there isn't a giant fire of LeBron James merchandise going on in Cleveland and/or Akron before the night is through, I will be surprised.
Now if LeBron doesn't win a Championship with the Heat, maybe we should start looking at him for the reason why Cleveland never won a Championship, not his supporting cast. Kobe or Jordan never had to leave their teams to win a Championship, maybe we are looking at the next Allen Iverson in Lebron James.
Loyalty? Scrub that tattoo off your back.
