Congratulations to the Troy Legion Post 43 17u Bombers for there 3rd place finish at the KT Crosen Legion Tournament in Athens,OH this weekend. The team is a true 17u team that played against teams comprised of 18 and 19year olds and played well on Sunday after a tough start on Friday night. This team is made up of kids from Troy, Miami East, Vandalia, Covington and Greenville. The boys really showed a ton of courage after taking one on the chin in a Saturday morning run rule and playing there way to 3rd place on Sunday afternoon in a10 inning barn burner against Meigs Post 39 Legion. It was a game full of some great pitching and even better defense by a team that never gives up.
