Boehner addresses the Darke County Chamber of Commerce

Congressman John Boehner addressed the Darke County Chamber of Commerce in a closed meeting Friday at the Greenville Golf Club. Boehner discussed many issues, and said that Congress needs to have an honest conversation with the American people about spending cuts.

  1. Too bad he didn't want to have an honest conversation about spending cuts between 2000 and 2008. Back then the sky was the limit. Oh well, just another career politician saying whatever will get him reelected.

  2. Although DJ wouldn't post my comment yesterday, I'll ask again: Why did it have to be a closed meeting with the Chamber of Commerce? Why didn't Mr. Boehner of the Chamber want the public at the meeting? After all, he says he wants an "honest conversation with the American people?" Or does he consider American people to be his corporate contributors? Maybe he didn't want the American people around when he played a round of golf with his corporate sponsers.
