Tipp City's Hickory River Smokehouse wins Ohio State Fair pulled pork competition

For the third straight year, Tipp City's Hickory River Smokehouse has won Grand Champion for its pulled pork at the Ohio State Fair.

From the Hickory River website: "Our quality beef brisket, chicken, turkey, and pork are treated with a dry rub - a flavorful way to keep the meat’s natural juices from escaping. After hours over a hickory-wood fire in our on-site smokehouse, the meat is harmonized with a generous side or drizzle of our spicy, tangy Texas-style BBQ sauce! Complete this barbecue phenomenon with one (or more) of our mouth-watering side dishes."

Patronize your Darke County restaurants first! But if you want to try out some award-winning pulled pork, Hickory River isn't that far away.
