Versailles Alumni Softball Tournament

I would like to thank the Versailles Alumni Association for putting the softball tournament together. My wife Jackie and I spent the weekend camping out in left field with my brother and his girlfriend. We got to see a lot of friends and family that we had not seen in a long time. The best part was just being able to spend time with old classmates, eat some good food, drink some cold beer and run rule the 1990 team after they made their Grandma/Grandpa & Geritol jokes. We are definitely coming back again next year and would encourage anyone that can to do so. It was a blast. A lot of good PEOPLE...

As we drove through Versailles on our way home Jackie and I both noticed and commented on how much PRIDE everyone takes in keeping their place up.

We also got to see the PROGRESS on the new school.

It is good to see that Versailles, OH is living up to the motto “PEOPLE, PRIDE & PROGRESS”. After this past weekend they may want to add PARTY to the Motto.

Note to anyone over 30. Start stretching 2 weeks in advance. Especially the hamstring. A massage therapist could have made a fortune this weekend.

UPDATE: photos submitted by tigerballonline.net. The second one looks like an amazing catch.

  1. What I saw of it was a great event as well. Thanks to the people doing the food, they had to be so hot in there. For a first time event, I thought it was especially well thought out and well done. Great job!
