Actually, this intersection is controlled by the State of Ohio, who did a study a few years ago and determined not to do anything about the intersection.
What is the problem with this intersection? I mean, you can see well in both directions. Just idiots that think they can beat the oncoming cars & trucks!
This intersection is not different than the intersection at Greenville-Celina or Sebring-Warner. All 3 of which have had their fair share of serious accidents. I drive this stretch of 127 on almost a daily basis. I have had people pull out in front of me off of Kruckeburg when I am almost at Kruckeburg. These people must be in some kind of hurry to do this. PAY ATTENTION PEOPLE! Just because there are 4 lanes, does not mean that I am going to move lanes so you can pull out. Motorists on 127 have the right of way....remember that! Put down your cell phones and DRIVE!
12:50 has it right. People just pull out in front of you. Always in a hurry I suppose. I have had this happen to me also. I have yet to understand why people want to take chances like that. They must assume you are not going to hit them. That is not always the case.

ReplyDeleteIt appears 121 and Kruckeburg/Russ has been switched to a 4 way. Maybe trying this to see if it helps.
