DARKE COUNTY PARKS OFFERS FISHES OF GREENVILLE CREEK CLASS - October 2nd

Saturday, October 2nd beginning at 2pm, Darke County Parks welcomes Aullwood Audubon Center’s Tom Hissong as we discover the fishes of Greenville Creek! We’ll pile into the “Great White” Parks’ van and head out to various locations along the Greenville to seine for fish of all sizes. Once at our test site, we’ll wade into the water with net in hand to collect as many species as we can find! Several species of minnows, darters, shiners and more will be seen. If you like fish, this is the course for you! Dress to get wet and wade in the creek. Old tennis shoes work great. No flip-flops. Pre-registration is required and space is limited, so call soon!

If you are interested in joining in this unique program, give the Nature Center a call at 937-548-0165 to pre-register you and your family for this FREE family fun today!
