Franklin Monroe Soars To A Win Over Rams At Crew Stadium

The Franklin Monroe boys soccer team traveled to Columbus over the weekend to take on the Greenview Rams in a regular season game played at the Columbus Crew Stadium.

Franklin Monroe set the pace early with Jaden Horner scoring his first goal within the first minute of the game. Horner was assisted by Lucas King. After a 1-0 lead at halftime, the Jets came out strong the second half and continued their run with two more goals by Jaden Horner who was assisted on both by Austin Miller. A defensive effort exhibited by sweeper Tyler Schrodi, Jesse Boston, Jesse Warner, and Logan Altic along with goalkeepers Grant Skelton and Trey Mong held the Rams to a scoreless game. The Jets went on to win 3-0. The Jets record is 5-2.
