Update on Arcanum streets
DarkeJournal regular OS sent in these photos Monday of the road construction in Arcanum. You now have fresh asphalt and a smooth ride in front of the school, but you still have a rough tread in front of the G&B Law Office. Photos below - the second apparently affected by the rough road. [We're also still waiting for the photo of the red car in a big hole???]

Fresh asphalt yes, smooth ride, far from it. Very poor job done on manhole heights, they now have built in speed bumps.
ReplyDeleteThe manholes are adjusted after the surface course of asphalt is laid, you adjust them afterwards as needed, so you get a smooth pavement instead of trying to match the pavement to initial manhole elevations.
