Franklin Monroe Boys' Soccer Team Continues to Soar in Tournament Action

The Franklin Monroe boys' soccer team defeated Xenia Christian 6-0 in tournament play Thursday evening. The Jets dominated most of the game as the defense held them scoreless. FM started off with a goal by Jaden Horner who was assisted by Chris Campbell. Horner then assisted Steven Madascy to bring the halftime score to 2-0. Xenia Christian was no match for the Jets as Horner headed a goal in from an assist by Tyler Schrodi bringing his yearly assists to eight for the year. As Horner was tripped in the box, he scored on a penalty kick bringing the score to 4-0. Shortly after, Dillon Medrano scored from a nice pass from Steven Madascy. Tyler King assisted Horner to bring the final score to 6-0. This win brings the Jets to 12-4-2 while Xenia Christian fall to 3-9-4. The Jets will now play Bethel at Bellbrook High School on Monday, October 25 at 5:30.
