Wow - truck nearly drives into the Greenville Creek

From badge1: While driving down Wilson Drive just east of the Swinging Bridge, the driver of this pickup apparently lost control and almost went into the water about 4:00 PM on Saturday.  Here crews work to remove the vehicle, there were no injuries. [badge1 has an entire slideshow of photos here]

  2. Speed bumps maybe a better solution. People walk along the creek in the park.

  4. Dodge a duck at 25 and go into the creek-IDIOT! Really how fast was he going? Looks like plenty of road and time to stop???

  7. It DOES seem like speed bumps with the rails (like it was before)is the answer. Why do they always change what works, and then wonder what's wrong

  9. I think the trees serve pretty well as guard rails. They worked this time.

  10. They didn't work when the kid killed himself by running off into the creek in like 82?
