Following lunch at Noon, the club was given a demonstration by member, Jim Magoto and Representatives from the Board of Elections. The club was shown the procedures for setting up and tearing down the precinct voting machines, as one of the club’s fund raising projects consists of the responsibility of setting up and tearing down the voting machines used at each precinct in Darke County for each election. After Jim’s demonstration, those responsible for the task this election worked hands on setting up and tearing down a voting machine and were assisted by those members that have already been involved in the past, as well as representatives from the Board of Elections.
