The 3rd Annual GGSA/GCBL Cornhole Tournament is just around the corner. Some of the best cornhole players in the area will compete for the coveted $1,000.00 purse and the tournament championship. The double-elimination tournament is scheduled for February 19th at Paws Bingo Hall across from the Greenville Inn in Greenville. Cost to play is $40.00 per team with check-in beginning at 11:30 PM the morning of the tournament with first toss coming at 1:00 PM.
Last year almost 30 teams participated in the growing event. Chris Hobbs and Jason Faber have taken home the championship two years in a row. Is this the year someone will be able to dethrone the two-time defending champions? Players of all ages will compete in the event with players coming to Greenville from as far away as Toledo to compete. If you like to play cornhole, stop in and test your skills against some of the best. No matter what your results are you're guaranteed to have some fun. It will be a great day of fundraising for the Greenville Girls Softball Association and the Greenville Citizens Baseball League.
A double-elimination singles tournament will be held following the doubles tournament.
