Level 1 effective February 3rd at noon

A Level 1 Ice/Snow Emergency has been issued for Darke County . This Level 1 Ice/Snow Emergency replaces the previous issued Level 2 Ice/Snow Emergency.

Most secondary roadways in Darke County remain ice covered and likely will remain ice covered to some extent for several days. Driving surfaces are very slick and rough. Anyone traveling on secondary roadways should use EXTREME CAUTION. Highway crews continue their difficult work of clearing the ice from the roads. Warmer temperatures over the weekend along with the sunshine should begin to slowly help erode some of the ice.

This Level 1 Ice/Snow Emergency takes effect immediately at 12:00 PM.
