MOTE & ASSOCIATES, INC. 9th ANNUAL EDUCATIONAL SEMINAR

Mote & Associates, Inc., Engineers and Land Surveyors, Greenville, Ohio, is offering their 9th annual complimentary Seminar entitled “Geographic Information Systems” to be held on Thursday, February 24, 2011 from 8:00 A.M. to 11:45 A.M. at the Darke County Parks Shawnee Prairie Preserve Nature Center located at 4267 State Route 502 west of Greenville.

The seminar is intended to help assist, educate and answer any questions regarding G.I.S. applications and how it can benefit you. Geographic Information Systems (G.I.S.) have emerged as essential tools for resource planning and management. They can be utilized for many planning purposes including land use, transportation and infrastructure, utilities management, etc.

Key speakers include Mr. Shawn Spencer from Precision Laser & Instrument, Mr. Matt Hilliard from Montgomery County Water Services, Ms. Lindsay Hunter from ESRI (Environmental Systems Research Institute), and Mote & Associates’ employees Mr. Sean Kahlig, Mr. Louis Bergman and Mr. Ron Darrow. Special presentations will also be made by Mr. Roger Van Frank of the Darke County Park District on the “Darke County Multi-Use Trail Connector” and by Mote & Associates to the Student Winners of the “Greenville High School Tech. Prep. Class Engineer’s Week Challenge.”
