Applications are now available for The Light Foundation’s Third Annual Youth Turkey Hunt. The hunt will be held April 16th and 17th in Darke County. Applications are available at all of the Darke County Schools, ACE Hardware, The Daily Advocate, WGTR and at the Wayne Lakes Gatehouse. Applicants have to be 12 to17 years of age, must be a Darke County resident, have a 2011 Ohio hunting license, have an adult willing to accompany them on the hunt, and submit an essay explaining What Non-Profit Organization in Darke County in your opinion makes the biggest impact on our community. Application deadline is April 1st and top winning essay applicants will be notified by April 6th.
