It's a slow news day here in Darke County, so let's broaden our scope slightly for a moment of levity.
According to this article from Yahoo! Sports, Ben Roethlisberger is getting married. Rest assured, however, he is not moving in with his fiance until after they are married, due to the religious beliefs of the couple.
See? He really is a great guy! Honest! ;)
A slow news day? No coverage of the barn/house/field fire yesterday?? C'mon man! Multiple departments...multiple hours...I don't even live in Darke County! Go Darke Journal!

ReplyDeleteDarke Journal doesn't have the privilege of full time employees to cover every emergency run. This is the first we've heard of any fire. There's only so much that can be done with 2 people working part time to cover every local fire and/or car crash.
That said, the best part of Darke Journal is that anyone can report on a story when it happens. If no one mentions it, it's likely to not get covered. So I implore you, if there's a gap in coverage, don't be afraid to close it!
