Tonight! Cincinnati Bengals take on Local Athletes in Basketball Exhibition!

Greenville Citizens Baseball League and GTI ACME Baseball will be teaming up to host an exhibition fund-raising basketball game to be played between members of the Cincinnati Bengals Football Team and local Greenville area athletes.

The game will be played tonight at 7pm at the Greenville High School Gymnasium with doors opening at 6pm. A free autograph session will be held at halftime. Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door. For advance tickets contact Tyler Edwards at (937) 564-2644.

Suiting up for the Bengals will be:

Nate Livings, a 6'-5" 332 lb, starting left guard who helped anchor the offensive line to allow the second fewest sacks in the AFC in 2010. Livings started all 16 games for the Bengals last season and is a 4-yr pro out of Louisiana State University.

Jerome Simpson, at 6"-2" 195 lb, Simpson mostly saw spot duty early on for the Bengals before breaking out during the last 2 games of 2010 due to injuries to Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco. Simpson caught 18 passes for 247 yards and 3 touchdown over the final two games and looks to be headed for a big season in 2011. Simpson was a 2008 second round draft choice out of Coastal Carolina.

Kevin Huber, this 6'-1" 210 lb kicker out of Cincinnati has been the mainstay at punter over the last few seasons, handling all punting duties and averaging 42.1 yards in 2010. His 72 yard punt on October 10th tied the best in the NFL last season.

Clark Harris, 6'-5" 260 lb, was signed as a free agent and took over all long snapping duties on October 13th last season. Harris delivered 135 snaps (72 punts/63 placekicks) during the season with all 135 snaps being rated "deliverable". Harris is a 3-yr pro out of Rutgers University.

Marvin White, 6'-1" 205 lb, is a 4th round pick from Texas Christian University in 2007 and a former starting safety for the Bengals who saw mostly special teams duties last season.

Fui Vakapuna, a 6'-0" 257 pounder, was looking to break out into the fullback rotation in 2010 before being placed on injured reserve due to a shoulder injury and missing the entire season. Vakapuna is a free agent signee out of Brigham Young University and looks to be heading to a promising year in 2011.
