Darke County Parks Parent and Preschooler Adventure Program Visits Log House
Preschoolers at Darke County Parks Parent and Preschooler Adventure program went back in time this month. They started class by taking a long hike back to the 18th Century Log House. Each preschooler had the opportunity to make their own butter and try out a butter churn. When the butter was finally finished, they got to enjoy their hard work. To make them look like pioneer kids, each preschooler made a hat or bonnet to wear home. Class was completed by playing some pioneer games. The kids enjoyed the sunshine while tossing a bean bag and jumping rope outside.
