Oakley House, a senior living community by Assisted Living Concepts, Inc., will host a free CEU Lunch & Learn seminar for area nurses and social workers titled, "The Nuts & Bolts-Assessing the Cognitive Function of the Older Adult" on Wednesday, May 11th from 12:00-1 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
Presented by GemCity Home Care, attendees will learn ways to effectively recognize the impairment in cognitive function, monitor an individuals cognitive response to various treatments and understand conditions in which cognitive functioning is impaired. Nurses have the opportunity to earn 1 Contact Hour while Ohio social workers could earn 1 Clock Hour.
Oakley House, located near the intersection of Russ Road and Northview Drive, promotes independence and individuality, while providing seniors with extra assistance in their daily routine.
