Applications are available for high school scholarships from the HOPE Foundation of Darke County. Seniors from the class of 2011 who attend Darke County high schools are invited to fill out the general application, which makes them eligible for approximately 36 scholarships totaling over $70,000. Deadline is June 1, 2011. Applications will be reviewed next year, with awards made in June 2012 at the completion of the student’s freshman year in college. The average award for each scholarship is $1,800.
Students may download the application from the HOPE Foundation website, www.hopedarkecounty.com, or they may obtain the application from their high school guidance counselor.
