Local Senior Community Celebrates Cinco De Mayo

On Thursday, May 5, 2011 Sterling House Greenville, a Brookdale Senior Living assisted living community, and Clare Bridge Greenville, a Brookdale Senior Living Alzheimer’s and dementia care community, celebrated Cinco De Mayo as part of our Optimum Life Program.

Throughout 2011, we have learned about and celebrated locations outside America to discover the AMAZING PLACES OF THE WORLD. During the month of May we celebrated the history of Mexico. Residents experienced exotic foods and wore colorful costumes. They learned about ancient history and modern culture. Many thought about the little things that connect us to people who lived thousands of years ago and to those who live thousands of miles away. Sterling House and Clare Bridge residents and associates feel great pride about what we have created and stand in awe at the incredible beauty all around us.
